Bio

Attorney Patricia M. Machado has been practicing law since 1996. She is a graduate of Boston University and Brooklyn Law School, and has been admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts.

Ms. Machado’s parents were political exiles that came from Cuba in 1966 escaping Castro’s repressive regime. She was born in New York and her Cuban American background gives her cultural sensitivity. Her fluency in the Spanish language allows her to effectively communicate with and represent her clients.

She decided to open her first office in Elmhurst, Queens and later her second office in Washington Heights. Ms. Machado has been known to aggressively represent her clients while giving them the personal and individualized attention they deserve.

She visits her clients personally while detained if needed in order to interview them and represent them. She has traveled to Consulates abroad and detention centers out of state.
