“I’m very grateful to the Law Office of Patricia Machado. They were very attentive throughout our process, and you can tell they know what they’re doing. Getting my residency was a complete success, and I highly recommend them.”

Alexander Pramer graduated from Touro Law Center’s two-year accelerated Honors program in 2021 and is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. In a short time, he has established himself across three demanding areas of law: immigration, family law, and criminal defense.
A significant part of Alexander’s practice focuses on complex removal defense and representing individuals in detention. He has successfully fought for the release of numerous clients facing some of the most difficult circumstances in the immigration system. It’s high-stakes work that requires precision, persistence, and a willingness to go the distance — and it’s where he’s made his mark.
Raised in a Latino household with Cuban and Peruvian roots, Alexander brings a genuine cultural connection to the communities the firm serves. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he communicates with clients in a way that goes beyond language — he understands the realities they’re navigating and the weight of what’s on the line.
His criminal defense experience is a particular asset for clients whose immigration matters intersect with the criminal justice system, a combination that demands someone who can move confidently across both areas. He brings that dual expertise to the table every day.
Alexander doesn’t just bring credentials to the table. He brings the preparation, the cultural understanding, and the courtroom experience that his clients’ cases demand.
